Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award
The DofE Award gives young people a positive focus and routine on a weekly basis completing the volunteering, physical skill and skill sections of the Award. For the expedition element of the Award students will be provided with in school training to prepare them for their Practice and Qualifying Expeditions. The Bronze DofE Award is offered to Year 9 students. An email with details about the Award and enrolment forms were emailed to all Year 8 parents in July 2022. The group has now been signed up for the year. Dates 2022-2023 July 2022 sign up to the Award Fortnightly training sessions afterschool starting after October half term. CCF students to attend lunchtime sessions on the same day. What to include in a DofE Assessor report Please include the following for all assessor reports Details of the participant e.g. name of the participant Assessor to include their own name Assessor to include their own contact details – email address and/or phone number Assessor to confirm the participant’s activities Assessor to confirm the dates of the activity Assessor to confirm how frequently the young person is taking part in the activity The report can be uploaded by the assessor via this website https://www.dofe.org/assessor/ they will just need the participants edofe number which can be found on their edofe account.
